DJ Green AKA Yunanto Wirawan, commenced his DJ career back in early 2005 after he finished his studies at Spinach DJ School, one of the first DJ’s to be trained and successfully graduate from Spinach in the early days of its existence, now Spinach is one of the biggest and well known Indonesian labels.

Yunan is DJ with a long running interest in dance music & the industry, a keen straight to break beat mixer with his own individual style and performance, Yunan has nurtured his skill individually over the past 5 years having gained a vast amount of experience countrywide.

Yunan has been one of the top choices for out of island resident positions since 2008, having held residencies in Mansion Café – Makassar, Twice! Barometer, Witz Club & B+ in Padang, Sumatra, Yunan has gained more than just DJ experience along the way.

Having personally arranged events and special guest DJ’s personally, Yunan also has a great amount of experience & knowledge “behind the scenes” in club & event management.

In 2008 during his residency at Mansion café, Makassar, Yunan met Mark Eon for the first time during his Djarum Black ABT tour series and his eyes were opened to a new style of music and style.

Yunan went on to successfully arrange Mark to play at Witz Club, Padang under Djarum’s LA menthol sponsorship.

Following this yunan continued to play at many clubs back on the island of java, including Musro in Jakarta and Butterfly in Bandung.

Yunan has also been a special guest DJ on many occasions, Indosat booked Yunan (DJ Green) and fellow DJ Grey aka Double G for a special event at Guess Club, PCC, Pontianak. Star Mild booked Yunan for a special performance at Regent Club, Cilegon. Centre Stage, Palembang with clas mild and NYE 2009 at Spacebar, Palu with LA Lights.

2010 holds much instore for DJ Green, having been recently selected by Mark Eon to join the Everlasting DJ’s, Mark Eon’s specially selected DJ team, Yunan now lines up as a label artist alongside Mark Eon, DJ Nando, DJ Rako & FDJ Vanya.

A down to earth guy with great talent, DJ Green has been the creator of his own success, now rising through the ranks, he is ready to take his career to the next level and in 2010 will see Yunan export his sound to other major cities in Indonesia and also return to the clubs where he made his name.
